Night Training Gets K-9 Out of 10

To ensure the safety of personnel on the air station, this training is conducted to keep military working dogs familiarized with the installation as its landscape continues to develop with the Defense Policy Review Initiative. The K-9’s are trained in the five phases of aggression, basic obedience and building searches which aid in a variety of potentially dangerous situations.

Corporal Tibor Rubin, Medal of Honor Recipient, Dies at 86

Holocaust survivor, Korean War hero and Medal of Honor recipient Tibor Rubin died of natural causes, Dec. 5, 2015. Rubin served in the U.S. Army in Korea, and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions there, Sept. 23, 2005.

Singh, the Indian Ambassador to the U.S., received an in-depth aeromedical evacuation demonstration of the C-17 Globemaster III  from PACAF Airmen on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 2015. The Indian air force has the world's 2nd largest fleet of C-17s, behind the U.S., and these aircraft have already proven their value in supporting international response to regional crises.
