2023 Chiefs of Defense Conference Commences

Commander U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Adm. John C. Aquilino, Fiji Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, and Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Maj. Gen. Keris Strike 23, a bilateral military exercise in its 28th year, featured approximately 3,000 U.S. and Malaysian service members, and gave the Arctic Angels a chance to test and share skills and lessons from living and working in one of the world’s most challenging environments through military police tactics, explosive ordnance disposal, medical operations, and jungle survival training.

The U.S. Marine Corps MQ-9A MUX/MALE is formally unveiled during a ceremony for Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3 (VMU-3), Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Aug 2, 2023. U.S. Marines Answer The Call | 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Conducts Typhoon Egay Relief Efforts in the Philippines

U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and Philippine Marines offload food and water, provided by the Government of the Philippines, from an MV-22B Osprey while conducting relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Egay, international name Typhoon Doksuri, in Basco, Batanes province, Philippines, July 31, 2023. At the request of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines are providing relief and lifesaving capabilities to remote regions of the Philippines.
