PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 10, 2026) — U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Hawken Helmandollar, an MV-22B Osprey aircrew chief assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires an M240B medium machine gun in a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey attached to VMM-164 (Rein.), 15th MEU, during a live-fire exercise in the Pacific Ocean, Aug. 10, 2026. The live-fire exercise was conducted to maintain combat readiness and train close-air support skills during flight maneuvers. Helmandollar is a native of Alaska.
