JOINT BASE ELEMENDORF-RICHADSON, Alaska (May 21, 2015) - A Tactical Air Control Party specialist with Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron, jumps out of a UH-60 Black Hawk during Kodiak Solstice jump week on JBER Thursday. Kodiak Solstice was hosted by the 3rd ASOS and integrated Soldiers from the 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th infantry Division.

USNS Millinocket Arrives in 7th Fleet for Pacific Partnership

PACIFIC OCEAN (May 27, 2015) - The Military Sealift Command joint high-speed vessel USNS Millinocket (JHSV 3) is underway in the Pacific Ocean for Pacific Partnership 2015. Now in its tenth iteration, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions have provided medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals. Additionally, Pacific Partnership has provided critical infrastructure development to host nations through the completion of more than 180 engineering projects.
