U.S., China Conclude Bilateral Maritime Talks

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (Nov. 25, 2015) - U.S. Air Force Col. Brian Delamater, Chief of Pacific Air Forces Advanced and Warfighter Integration Division, and Senior Captain Liang Yang, Deputy Director Operations Department, Navy Headquarters, Peoples Liberation Army, sign the meeting minutes for the bi-annual Military Maritime Consultative Agreement (MMCA) talks, held Nov. 21-24, at Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces. The bilateral MMCA talks are a long-standing mechanism designed to provide open and transparent communication to address concerns and develop common understandings between U.S. and PRC air and naval forces in order to avoid unsafe incidents and minimize risk.
