Readout of Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Amanda Dory's Meeting With Australian Secretary of Defence Gregory Moriarty

Department of Defense Spokesman Lt. Col. Garron Garn, USMC, provided the following readout:

Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Amanda Dory met today with Australian Secretary of Defence Gregory Moriarty at the Pentagon to discuss strengthened defense and security cooperation between the United States and Australia.

The two officials emphasized their commitment to further deepen defense ties, including through force posture initiatives, defense industrial base collaboration, and cooperation with Indo-Pacific allies and partners in support of a shared vision for a free and open region.
