Airmen with the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron load cargo onto a C-17 Globemaster III from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Sept. 25, 2017. The Tsuiki Air Base aviation training relocation focuses on training in different geographical locations and cultural environments, while strengthening U.S. and Japan interoperability and combat readiness. This is the first ATR located at Tsuiki AB since 2010.

962nd AACS, 970th AACS conduct total force mission
Pilots on an E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control aircraft check gauges while flying above Alaska, during a surveillance training mission Sept. 20, 2017. Reservists from the 970th Airborne Air Control Squadron based at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., visited Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson for a nine-day total force mission where they fully integrated with the active-duty 962nd AACS.

Airmen, Soldiers complete joint airborne training
Paratroopers descend onto Malemute Drop Zone at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 24, 2017. Soldiers of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, recently completed a series of jumps to ensure that they maintain their airborne qualification during the brigade’s upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. The 4/25 jumped out of C-17s and C-130 Hercules' during their pre-deployment proficiency jumps on JBER.
