U.S. Indo-Pacific Command kicks off Large Scale Global Exercise 23

U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Public Affairs Office

CAMP SMITH, Hawaii -- U.S. Indo-Pacific Command will conduct Large Scale Global Exercise 23 (LSGE 23) beginning May 24 through Aug. 19, 2023. LSGE23 is a Department of Defense exercise executed by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), which incorporates U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Space Forces. During the period of LSGE23, INDOPACOM will also take the opportunity to exercise its interoperability with allies and partner nations across the Indo-Pacific.

This all domain, integrated exercise series executes a range of joint and multinational military activities and operations to demonstrate a robust regional presence, as well as the enduring strength of regional partnerships. LSGE23 allows the joint and multinational forces to cooperate and demonstrate a shared commitment to regional stability, peace and prosperity.

LSGE 23 is a platform to enhance the already strong partnerships and cooperation between the U.S., its allies and regional partners to continue to ensure the Indo-Pacific is open, stable and prosperous.
