Pacific Fleet Submarines: Lethal, Agile, Underway
The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Alexandria (SSN 757) prepares to depart Apra Harbor as part of regularly scheduled operations in the Indo-Pacific. She recently was in Guam, moored alongside the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40). Frank Cable provides necessary repairs and supplies for deployed ships in the 7th Fleet area of operations. Alexandria is one of four submarines assigned to Submarine Squadron 11 out of Naval Base Point Loma, California.
