Cobra Gold 15 Combined Forces Provide Ballast for Thai Children, Future

Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province, Thailand (Jan. 24, 2015) - A U.S. soldier hands a steel rod to a Chinese soldier at Ban Nhong-Plong elementary school. As part of Exercise Cobra Gold 2015, a combined force of U.S., Thai and Chinese engineers have been constructing a multipurpose building since Jan. 19, which is slated to officially open after its dedication ceremony on Feb. 19. The structure will serve as a town meeting center and the school cafeteria for children ages 4-12.
