USS Shoup Joins Commander, Task Force 71 / DESRON 15

YOKOSUKA, Japan - Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) moor the ship as it arrives at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) as the newest addition to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15. CTF 71/DESRON 15, is the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
