Tech Advantage Critical to Prevail in Strategic Competition With China, DOD Official Says

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia - F-22 Raptors from the 94th Fighter Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., and F-35A Lightning IIs from the 58th Fighter Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., fly in formation after completing an integration training mission, Nov. 5, 2014. It was the first operational integration training mission for the Air Force’s fifth generation aircraft. The F-35s and F-22s flew offensive counter air, defensive counter air, and interdiction missions, employing tactics to maximize their capabilities.
