JAKARTA, Indonesia - Lt. Cmdr. Fred Crayton, commanding officer of the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Chief (MCM 14), briefs Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) sailors about minesweeping equipment during a tour of the ship. Chief is visiting Jakarta while operating in U.S. 7th Fleet to work with their Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) counterparts to strengthen regional security and stability, and enhance interoperability.
