USS Bonhomme Richard arrives in San Diego, completes homeport shift

Capt. Stephen Arles, senior medical officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), mans the rails during the ship's arrival in San Diego. Bonhomme Richard, which had been forward-deployed since 2012 as the Amphibious Force 7th Fleet flagship, has completed a homeport shift and arrived to San Diego where it is scheduled to undergo upgrades to operate the F-35 Lightning II.
