HONOLULU, Hawaii (Mar. 23, 2015) - U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Nancy Norton, U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) director for Command, Control, Communications and Cyber, provides opening remarks during the Multinational Communications Interoperability Program (MCIP) Planning Staff Workshop 2, in preparation for the upcoming humanitarian and disaster relief capstone event Pacific Endeavor (PE), at the Ala Moana Hotel. Pacific Endeavor is a series of events that occur each year designed to manage the momentum of the Indo-Asia Pacific rebalance and strengthen relationships with allies and partners by testing the communications response to a natural disaster. PE15 is scheduled to take place in Manila, Philippines, for approximately two weeks during the months of August and September and is set to involve 20 allied and partner nations.
