F-35s land at Kunsan for Vigilant Storm 23
U.S. Marine Corps F-35 Lightning IIs from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242, out of Iwakuni, Japan, park at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Oct. 31, 2022. The aircraft traveled to Kunsan as a part of the Pacific Air Forces command sponsored VIGILANT STORM 23 exercise. Soldiers compete for title of best squad in the Theater Army of the Indo-Pacific
The U.S. Army Pacific Command team, commander Gen. Charles Flynn, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Brzak, stand with (from left to right) Staff Sgt. Angel Dinsmore, Sgt. Jonathan Renfro as they receive their awards for being the squad that recently won the 2022 USARPAC Best Squad Competition on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, August 29, 2022. The squad was a five-soldier team from 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and they competed against Army teams from across the Pacific region. These five Soldiers are scheduled to compete for the 2022 Department of Defense Best Squad Competition in the coming months.

India’s Vice Chief of Naval Staff Vice Adm. S.N. Ghormade welcomes the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) to L&T Shipyard in Kattupalli, near Chennai, India, Aug. 7, 2022 where the ship will conduct scheduled maintenance. As part of Military Sealift Command’s Combat Logistics Force (CLF), Charles Drew enables U.S. Navy ships to remain at sea and combat ready for extended periods of time. In addition, CLF ships, like Charles Drew, also resupply international partners and allies operating in the Indo-Pacific Region. Under Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet and routinely interacts and operates with 35 maritime nations in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific Region.

The U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), pulls in to Changi Naval Base, Singapore for a scheduled port visit.
