The Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), is being reassembled at NCS Harold E. Holt, near Exmouth, Australia. Thomas Larner, Royal Australian Air Force No. 1 Squadron F/A-18F Super Hornet weapon systems officer, is serving as an exchange officer at RAAF Base Amberley, Australia, as part of the U.S. Air Force military personnel exchange program. Kadena F-15s Celebrate 40 Years of Air Superiority
Two F-15C Eagles from the 44th Fighter Squadron fly during a training exercise July 10, 2019, out of Kadena Air Base, Japan. The Eagle can be armed with several combinations of different air-to-air weapons: AIM-120 AMRAAM advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles on its lower fuselage corners, AIM-9M/X Sidewinder or AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles on two pylons under the wings, and an internal 20 millimeter (0.79 in) M61 Vulcan Gatling gun in the right wing root.
