At the request of the Government of the Philippines, the MRF-D 25.3 Marine Air-Ground Task Force, working alongside the Armed Forces of the Philippines, provide foreign disaster relief to communities affected by consecutive storms and the southwest monsoon. The forward presence and ready posture of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command in the region, facilitates rapid and effective response to crises, demonstrating a commitment to allies and partners during times of need. A Royal Canadian Air Force C-17 transported the force package from the Northern Territory to Indian Ocean Territories, with personnel and equipment from 3MDTF, the U.S. 1-3 Field Artillery Regiment, the Australian 2nd Division, 464 Squadron, and the 10th Brigade.
