KADENA AIR BASE, Japan (June 30, 2015) - A U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle from the 44th Fighter Squadron taxis after landing during a large force exercise. The fighter jets were in charge of gaining air superiority while protecting ground troops and rescue helicopters during the exercise.

U.S., Nepalese Troops rush to rescue casualties of second Nepal quake
KATHMANDU, Nepal (May 12, 2015) - U.S. service members from Joint Task Force 505 and Nepalese soldiers unload an injured child to a medical triage area at Tribhuvan International Airport after a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck the country. Joint Task Force 505 along with other multinational forces and humanitarian relief organizations are currently in the Nepal providing aid after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country, April 25. At Nepal's request the U.S. government ordered JTF 505 to provide unique capabilities to assist Nepal.

US Marines airlift relief supplies to Nepalese military
KATHMANDU, Nepal (May 7, 2015) - U.S. Airmen and Nepalese service members dismount a pallet of humanitarian aid after an aircraft offload during Joint Task Force 505 humanitarian assistance and disaster relief at Tribhuvan International Airport. The Nepalese government requested the U.S. government's assistance after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country April 25. U.S Marines from III Marine Expeditionary Force came together with other services to provide unique capabilities to assist Nepal.

In this photo file, U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron and Aircraft Maintenance Unit discuss pre-flight information while Philippine Air Force (PAF) air battle managers board a 961st AACS E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) during exercise Balikatan 2015 on Clark Air Base, Philippines, April 23. This exercise marks the first time in history that PAF air battle managers have controlled other aircraft while onboard the AWACS. Since the exercise began, April 20, the 961st AACS has integrated 20 PAF weapons controllers during their missions to provide them with first-hand experience using the aircraft’s systems. The 961st AACS is stationed at Kadena Air Base, Japan.

U.S. Marines, airmen and Republic of Korea troops train for contamination
OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea (Mar. 19, 20150) - Republic of Korea (ROK) airmen perform a decontamination operation. ROK airmen participated in a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear joint training exercise with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1 CBRN and 51st Civil Engineer Squadron CBRN. The week-long bilateral training event enabled U.S. Marines and airmen, and ROK airmen to learn different tactics, techniques and procedures.
