Khaan Quest 2016 Officially Ends at the Closing Ceremony
ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia (June 04, 2016) - Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandaakhüügiin Enkhbold greets Maj. Gen. Gregory Bilton, Deputy Commanding General of Operations for U.S. Army Pacific, prior to the Khaan Quest 2016 Closing Ceremony at the Five Hills Training Area. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program. The exercise focuses on training activities to enhance international interoperability, develop peacekeeping capabilities, build to mil-to-mil relationships, and enhance military readiness.

U.S. Marines, Mongolian soldiers conduct small boat riverine training course during Khaan Quest 2016.
ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia (May 30, 2016) – A soldier from the Alaska National Guard accompanies members of the Mongolian Armed Forces during a small boat riverine training course. The small boat riverine training course is part of Khaan Quest 2016 and is the continuation of last week’s basic water survival course to familiarize MAF soldiers with different survival tactics in different environments that can be used during their deployment or U.N. missions. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Indo-Asian partners gather for inaugural port opening exercise in Cambodia
Joint, interagency and multinational sustainment experts gathered in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, March 14, 2016, for Angkor Opening 2016, a week-long exchange and table top exercise designed to build partnerships, interoperability and readiness in humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) port opening operations. The exercise, hosted by the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and sponsored by the 8th Theater Sustainment Command and the Cambodian National Committee for Maritime Safety (NCMS), is the first exchange of its kind between the organizations.

Service members support 2016 NFL Pro Bowl
A joint honor guard detail prepares to render honors during the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl as part of the event’s pregame show Jan. 31, at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. More than 200 military volunteers worked together to construct the pregame show stage in support of Rachel Platten’s performance of her song “Fight Song.” The U.S. military also conducted a C-17 Globemaster flyover and Pacific Command leadership participated in the game’s coin toss.
