Marines, Australians commemorate 73rd anniversary of Battle of the Coral Sea
DARWIN, Australia (May 8, 2015) - Sergeant Anissa Hogbin, a bugler with the Army Band Darwin, Australian Defence Force, sounds "Last Post" during the memorial service commemorating the 73rd Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea May 8 at the USS Peary Gun Memorial, Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The Battle of the Coral Sea was a series of naval engagements, between the U.S. and Australia against Japan, which occurred May 4 to May 8, 1942 on the northeast coast of Australia. Beyond purely military training, Marine Rotational Force - Darwin greatly appreciates Australia's hospitality and utilizes community engagements to learn and share with the host nation.

HONOLULU, Hawaii (Apr. 25, 2015) - Commander of U.S. Pacific Command, Adm. Samuel J. Locklear III, attends the ANZAC Day remembrance at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, to honor and commemorates the soldiers who sacrificed their lives on the Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey on April 25, 1915. Cold Regions Military Mountaineering Collaborative Event

Francois Dufault from the Canadian army are gearing up with their MSR Snowshoes during the three-day Cold Regions Military Mountaineering Collaborative Event at Northern Warfare Training Center's Black Rapids Training Site, Alaska, Feb. 9-12, 2015. The purpose of this event is to strengthen cooperation, share ideas and improve capabilities with our international partners in cold-weather and mountainous regions. Military members from 12 nations are participating in this event, including Canada, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal and United Kingdom, as well as various units and service components from across the United States.

21 Nations Participate in Largest Peacekeeping Training Event

More than 800 participants representing 21 nations are participating in the Global Peace Operations Initiative Capstone Training Event Garuda Canti Dharma 2014 from Aug. 19 to Sept. 1, 2014 in Sentul, Indonesia.
