The crew of USCGC Oliver Henry (WPC 1140) approaches a Philippine-flagged purse seine fishing vessel in the North Pacific Ocean on March 31, 2023. The team returned to Guam on April 9, 2023, following the 30-day patrol supporting the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency's Operation 365 and Operation Rematau to stop illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing in the Pacific.

Sea Dragon is a U.S.-led, multinational exercise designed to practice and discuss anti-submarine warfare tactics to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.

U.S. Marine Corps Col. MCB Camp Blaz coordinated with the Chairman for the Committee on the Guam Buildup, Senator Roy Quinata and his staff to invite all members of the Guam Legislature on a base tour to learn more about the Marine Corps' construction progress and to showcase the ongoing efforts to avoid, minimize, and offset the impact to Guam’s natural and cultural resources. In attendance were Sen. Roy Quinata, Sen. Jesse Lujan, and Sen. Joanne Brown. Staff members from the offices of Sen. Thomas Fisher and Sen. Amanda Shelton as well as the Executive Director of the Community Defense Liaison Office from the governor’s office Vera Topasna and the State Historic Preservation Officer Patrick Lujan were also in attendance. Rear Adm. Benjamin Nicholson, commander of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) and JRM’s Command Master Chief William Webster participated alongside MCB Camp Blaz leadership and staff.
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan
The crew of the USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) transfers two mariners rescued from the water about halfway between Guam and Rota midday on Feb. 9, 2023, to a Station Apra Harbor 45-foot Response Boat-Medium for further transport to shore. The crew responded to a mayday call from the master of the 42-foot vessel Senor Dung on Feb. 8 along with other federal and local responders.
ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam
A U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon from the "Red Lancers" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 10 takes off from Kadena Air Base, March 3. The Red Lancers are based in Jacksonville, Florida, and are currently operating from Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. The squadron conducts maritime patrol and reconnaissance, as well as theater outreach operations, as part of a rotational deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
SANTA RITA, Guam
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew deployed to Guam from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point in Hawaii flies patterns to assess winds and terrain before conducting rescue hoist training at Sella Bay Overlook in Guam on March 8, 2023. Eight members of GFD's Battalion A worked with the aircrew and personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam response department.
