Hawaii Snipers Train in High Angle Shooting
MARINE CORPS BASE, Hawaii (Apr. 8, 2015) - Marine scout snipers with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, conduct high angle shooting on Range 10 aboard. The training was different from their typical flat level or slight elevation ranges. The high angle is considered anything 30 degrees or greater.

SATTAHIP, Thailand (Feb. 12, 2015) - Thai Military Instructors speak to U.S., Thai and Korean Marines during a jungle survival training course Feb. 12, 2015, at Camp Lotawin, Kingdom of Thailand. The course is designed to give the military members necessary skills to survive in the jungle and brings the three groups together to foster friendships.

BAN CHAN KREM, Thailand (Feb. 8, 2015) - Lance Cpl. James Hutsell, from Fayetteville, N.C., drinks coconut water during exercise Cobra Gold 2015. The Royal Thai Marines shared several of their native fruits found in the jungle with U.S. Marines. Hutsell is a radio operator with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 4th Marine Regiment under the unit deployment program.

US, ROK Marines ruck over mountains
In this file photo, U.S. and Republic of Korea Marines hike a 35- km path up a mountain Jan. 15 during Korean Marine Exchange Program 15-3 in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea. The U.S. Marines hiked side-by-side with their ROK Marine counterparts through snow and ice. The U.S. Marines are reconnaissance men with Alpha Company, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The ROK Marines are force reconnaissance men with 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division.

Gone but not forgotten

Wildes, a Soldier from the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, took time to salute a part of the memorial July 10 at a fallen heroes ceremony on Gaemi Hill in Sejong, South Korea. The wall had been dedicated to the 428 U.S. Soldier's names who had given the ultimate sacrifice at the Battle of Gaemi Hill during the Korean War.
