JODHPUR AIR FORCE STATION, RAJASTHAN, India - (Sept. 5, 2024) A 179th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon takes off during Tarang Shakti-24 at Jodhpur Air Force Station, Rajasthan, India, Sept. 5, 2024. The 179th is a U.S. Air National Guard unit based out of Duluth, Minnesota. The Guard unit is currently deployed to Kadena Air Base as a rotational force to amplify the asymmetric deterrence measures in the Indo-Pacific with partners and Allies like India.
