U. S. Sailors and Marines join the Sri Lankan Armed Forces to conduct partnered training that focuses on building interoperability during both the sea and shore phases of the exercise. During the exercise, Sailors and Marines will conduct a broad range of naval competencies ranging from explosive ordnance disposal, underwater diving sessions and civil engineering to search and rescue and humanitarian assistance and disaster response.

The B-2 Spirit is a multi-role bomber capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions. Its low-observable, or "stealth," characteristics give it the unique ability to penetrate an enemy's most sophisticated defenses and threaten its most valued, and heavily defended, targets. Aquilino is visiting Australia during a multi-country trip to meet with regional leaders to strengthen U.S. relationships and reaffirm the importance of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
