BUSAN, Republic of Korea - (Feb. 10, 2025) The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Alexandria (SSN 757) arrives at Busan Naval Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 10, 2025. The port visit in Busan reinforces the role of the alliance as a cornerstone for regional peace and security, reaffirming the ironclad commitment between the U.S. and ROK to defend their homelands. Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Korea is the U.S. Navy’s representative in Republic of Korea, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Republic of Korea and the region.
