KADENA AIR BASE, Japan, - An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 80th Fighter Squadron lands at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Jan.19, 2024. Six F-16s from the 8th Fighter Wing flew 600 nautical miles for an out-and-back mission with the 18th Wing testing agile combat employment capabilities. The ACE out-and-back was designed to test the 35th Fighter Squadron and Fighter Generation Squadron airmen on ther ability to retrieve, refuel and launch aircraft in an unfamiliar location.
