USS Michigan Operates in 7th Fleet

OKINAWA, Japan - The Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Michigan (SSGN 727) made a brief stop for personnel near Okinawa, Japan as part of its deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, Nov. 10. Michigan is homeported at Naval Base Kitsap, Washington and is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, conducting maritime security operations and supporting national security interests.
