PACIFIC OCEAN - A KC-135 Stratotanker, 909th Aerial Refueling Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan, and two U.S. Marine F-35C Lightning II’s from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 fly over the Pacific Ocean March 15, 2022. The fighter aircraft launched from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) to conduct a joint long-range air demonstration in the Yellow Sea, March 15. The alliance between the U.S. and the Republic of Korea remains the linchpin for peace, security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific. It is the strength of our alliance with the ROK and unity of purpose that will eventually realize our shared goal of achieving the complete denuclearization of, and lasting peace on, the Korean Peninsula.
