Schoellhorn joined Daegu City Mayor Kwon Young-jin, Nam-gu Mayor Cho, Jae Gu and dozens of local civic leaders outside of Camp Walker for a ceremony at the former Camp Walker heliport in Daegu on Dec. 10. A new modern library is planned at the site for the citizens of Nam-gu and Daegu. USAG Daegu is committed to making South Korea assignment of choice by developing close partnerships with community partners and providing support services and programs that enhance quality of life and make the installations a great place to live and work.
