JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - U.S. Air Force pilot 1st Lt. Keith Schaper, a native of Arcadia, Fla., assigned to the 517th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, performs a pre-flight inspection on a C-12F Huron, Oct. 22, 2020. The Huron is a versatile twin-engine turboprop primarily used by the military for limited passenger and light cargo transport, embassy support, and medical evacuation if needed.
