WASHINGTON, District of Columbia - Brigadier Gen. Ralph Hedenberg (right), duel-status commander of forces in Connecticut, talks with Karina Rando, head of the COVID-19 task force for the Uruguayan Ministry of Public Health and Uruguayan Colonel Antonio Nunes, the military liaison to SINAE - the Uruguayan equivalent to FEMA, video video conference to discuss how each of the partners is handling the coronavirus pandemic. This virtual exchange of COVID-19 information is the first of its kind for the Southern Command area of responsibility.
