YOKOSUKA, Japan - Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Security Department Sailors direct incoming gate traffic to COVID-19 screening stations on base, April 10. The screening includes, but is not limited to, asking the vehicle occupants a series of questions regarding their health, and for some of those coming through the gate, checking their temperature for a fever as a sign of a possible infection. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
