Eielson Stands Up Field Training Detachment, Hosts First F-35 Courses

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska - U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Gregory Valdez, a 354th Maintenance Squadron F-35A Lightning II Low Observable Aircraft Structural Maintenance Craftsman, conducts a paste repair on an F-35 test panel Jan. 23, 2020, at the field training detachment (FTD) on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The newly-built detachment is the first F-35 FTD in Pacific Air Forces.
