A Royal Canadian Air Force C-17 transported the force package from the Northern Territory to Indian Ocean Territories, with personnel and equipment from 3MDTF, the U.S. 1-3 Field Artillery Regiment, the Australian 2nd Division, 464 Squadron, and the 10th Brigade. US, Indonesia begin Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Exercise

U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Bob Little, commanding officer of the Legend-class cutter USCG Stratton (WMSL 752), is greeted by traditional Indonesian dancers during a welcoming ceremony hosted by the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) in the port of Tanjung Perak after the ship arrived for Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2019. CARAT, the U.S. Navy's longest running regional exercise in South and Southeast Asia, strengthens partnerships between regional navies and enhances maritime security cooperation throughout the Indo-Pacific.
