U.S., Royal Malaysian Navies Conduct Submarine Warfare Talks

SANTA RITA, Guam - Capt. Jeff Bierley, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), thanks First Adm. Baharudin Bin Wan Md Nor, Royal Malaysian Navy Force Commander, for touring the ship, July 9. The purpose of the tour was to review and establish combined goals and future plans for joint training and exercises. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region.
