BUSAN, Republic of Korea (June 26, 2019) Rear Adm. Michael "Buzz" Donnelly, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea, places a flower at Gungang Park during a ceremony commemorating the 69th anniversary of the Battle of Daehan Strait. The Battle of Daehan Strait marked the start of the Korean war, when a North Korean troop transport carrying hundreds of troops attempted to land near Busan, but was sunk by a South Korean patrol ship.
