U.S. Marine Applies Basic Lifesaving Skill to Help Civilian in Okinawa

CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan - Col. Vincet Ciccoli, right, awards Staff Sgt. Jonathan McClure, left, a Navy Achievement Medal February 22, 2019, aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. McClure was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for superior performance of duty while serving as a military policeman and accident investigation section chief Provost Marshal’s office, H&S Bn, MCIPAC-MCB. With quick thinking and a bias for action, McClure rescued a woman from choking at a local restaurant.
