Ready for the test | 9th ESB Marines participate in Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation

OKINAWA, Japan - Lance Cpl. Noah Hoffman, left, and Capt. Felipe Bayona, right, fill sandbags for defensive positions during a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE) on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 6, 2018. Marines with Bravo Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group took part in the MCCRE to demonstrate their skills in counter mobility and survivability on the battlefield. The Marines were graded on their speed and proficiency while deploying defensive battle and counter mobility stations against the enemy. Hoffman, a combat engineer with Bravo Co., 9th ESB, 3rd MLG, is a native of Middletown, Pennsylvania. Bayona, the commanding officer of Bravo Co., 9th ESB, 3rd MLG, is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
