F-16s train at Draughon Range, showcase readiness to 600

DRAUGHON RANGE, Japan - A combination of energetic materials, known as a ‘Hollywood shot,’ explodes at Draughon Range during Range Day near Misawa Air Base, Japan, Oct. 12, 2018. The shot simulates explosions seen from cinematic movies. Range Day is a yearly event, coordinated by the 35th Operations Support Squadron, allowing Misawa personnel and families to view cas they drop bombs and strafe targets in the area.
