U.S. Marines conduct helicopter rope suspension techniques training at Camp Schwab, Okinawa on Japan, Oct. 12, 2018. HRST allows Marines to be inserted in locations where aircraft cannot safely land, such as mountain faces and difficult terrain. The Marines are with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company is apart of III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, III MEF.
