KATHMANDU, Nepal - Members of the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), which was observed and facilitated by Andrew Benziger (not pictured), Pacific Ocean Division (POD) readiness and contingency operations division chief, briefs Maj. Gen. Timothy M. McKeithen, deputy commander for the National Guard, USARPAC and Lt. Gen. Hemanta Raj Kunwar, chief of staff, Nepali Army, on NEOC operations during the field training exercise portion of the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange (DREE), Sept. 25-28. The exchange was conducted in partnership with the Nepali Army and Nepal Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), in Kathmandu, Nepal, and attended by international participants from 14 countries, along with more than 300 civilian and military disaster response professionals.
