CNSP Visits Sasebo, Discusses Command Philosophy

SASEBO, Japan - Vice Adm. Rich Brown, commander of Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), speaks with Sailors and Marines in Sasebo, Japan, in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Brown's first visit to Sasebo as CNSP provided him the opportunity to engage the waterfront and discuss the future of the surface warfare community, the importance of command, and achieving success in the Surface Force by focusing on the following guiding principles of good stewardship, professional development and safety.
