Lethality: U.S. Army Alaska snipers conduct stress shooting drills

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - U.S. Army snipers assigned to the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment (Airborne), 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, conduct a stress shooting exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 11, 2018. Stress shooting drills incorporate physical training to increase heart rate and breathing and make holding steady difficult during shooting, simulating a stressed environment.
