SASEBO, Japan - The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) returned to Sasebo, Japan, following a routine patrol of the Indo-Pacific region. Bonhomme Richard is visiting its Sasebo homeport for the final time before performing a homeport shift to San Diego after six years of being forward deployed to Japan.
