Eight Heroes stand out as U.S., South Korea honor Korean War vets

DAEGU, South Korea - Maj. Gen. Scott McKean, commanding general of the 2nd Infantry/ROK-U.S. Combined Division and San Jose, Cali. native, joins Korean War veteran and former Cpl. Howard Ballard of Chicago, Ill. during the unveiling of a new memorial Sep. 22 in Daegu, Korea that pays tribute to those who fought in the Battle of Hill 303.
