U.S. Vice President visits to Japan

Vice President Mike Pence salutes the crew chief of Navy Two upon his arrival to Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka. Pence's visit to Yokosuka Wednesday is part of official trip to the Asia-Pacific region reinforcing the United States' full commitment to its security alliances, April 19, 2017. During the Vice President's visit he spoke with military leaders and later with Sailors aboard USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76). Fleet Activities Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 26,000 military and civilian personnel.
