In this file photo, a joint boarding team from the U.S. Coast Guard buoy tender USCGC Sequoia (WLB-215) awaits permission to proceed to a fishing vessel to conduct boarding in the Palau exclusive economic zone Sept. 5, 2016. The boardings were conducted under a U.S. Coast Guard and bilateral agreement with Palau, additional support came from the Marine Forces Pacific 3rd Radio Battalion and the Australian Fisheries Management Authority.
