South Korean Special Forces train with US Soldiers to direct fire

U.S. and Republic of Korea Soldiers learn the basics of directing fire from U.S. and NATO aircraft, artillery, and naval vessels April 19 at Camp Casey, South Korea. The first-of-its-kind Joint Fires Observer training, hosted by Soldiers of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team "Ironhorse," 1st Cavalry Division; and taught by instructors from the 428th Field Artillery Brigade, Fires Center of Excellence, from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, was three years in the making.
