Stethem Sailors Reach Out in Shanghai

SHANGHAI (Nov. 17, 2015) Adm. Scott H. Swift, commander U.S. Pacific Fleet, inspects sailors of the People’s Liberation Army Navy Jiangkai II class guided-missile frigate Xuzhou (FFG 530) during a pass and review prior to touring the ship during a scheduled port visit of the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stethem (DDG 63). Stethem is in Shanghai to build relationships with the PLA Navy and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
